Shireen Naziree is an independent curator and art historian. Her international curatorial practice includes working with some of Southeast Asia’s most important artists and emerging talents from the region as well as interacting with art institutions in Southeast Asia and in Europe. She has written extensively on both the traditional and contemporary art practices of the region, with particular focus on Malaysia, Myanmar and Vietnam. She has served two terms as a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Art Gallery of Malaysia. She resides in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
